# LAB Setup 2

### 1. Tool and LAB Setup with Genymotion

Another powerful Android Emulator is Genymotion which is completely based on virtualbox.

It's free for private use, but you need to register with a mail address.

The setup is really easy. You just need to install virtualbox on your client and then download the genymotion setup from here:

Beside that you need a linuxbox of your choice where you can install and go ahead with the tools like in [the last setup](https://cas-cyber.gitbook.io/cas-cybersecurity/android-malware/lab-setup-2).\

I've tried with the <mark style="color:blue;">santoku</mark> VM, but I think this project is a bit outdated since 2015 and no longer supported by the community. ~~If you want to try you can find the download here:~~ (no longer available)
